“The Lord is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation; This is my God, and I will praise him.” -Exodus 15:2
Week 1
(Key Verse 1) - “Say therefore to the people of Israel, ‘I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will deliver you from slavery to them, and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great acts of judgement.”
-Read Exodus 6:5-8
(Key Verse 2) - “Thus the Lord saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.”
-Read Exodus 14:21-30
Pray: Awesome Father, thank you for the prophecies you’ve spoken pointing to the promise of deliverance for your people and for me. Give me deeper revelation of the finished work of the cross and open my eyes as I go through these 6 weeks of scripture. You are the God of liberation and love and trust you to deliver me from my enemies.
Meditation Question: How does the parting of the Red Sea point to what Jesus accomplished on the cross?
